The Hospitality Resource Partnership (HRP) Pilot Project at 9th & U Streets is a program with the goal to unite key representatives from hospitality, public safety, government, development and community toward a common goal of planning, managing and policing safe and vibrant places to live, work, and socialize. The HRP Pilot Project is focused on the area within 1 ½ blocks of the center of the intersection of 9th & U Streets, NW.

U Street Tots

"U Street Tots" is an online (and offline) group of parents and families in the greater U Street area. A place for parents to connect, make new friends, find daycare, nannies, preschools, pediatricians, you name it. U Street Tots hopes to be a central point to help plan playgroups, picnics and Family Nights Out, and support neighborhood projects. The Friends of Harrison Recreation Center is currently one of projects. U Street Tots is also the name ofour Yahoo! Groups online listserv for parents and families in the neighborhood.
