Service changes on Metrobus will be implemented on five lines in the District of Columbia beginning December 31. The changes are in response to customer requests and will improve service reliability. Several changes are due to detours associated with construction at the Georgia Ave-Petworth Metrorail station.

 

Changes will be made to the following lines:

Weekday, Saturday and Sunday schedules will be adjusted to reflect new travel times that result from the detour routings in effect at the Georgia Ave-Petworth Metrorail station. Check the new timetables for specific bus times.

U8 Capitol Heights-Benning Heights Line
Scheduled weekday trip times will be adjusted to improve service reliability.

X2 Benning Road-H Street Line
Buses from Benning Road and 19th Street, NE, at 2:50, 2:55, 3, 3:05 and 3:10 p.m. on weekdays will be rescheduled to leave at 3:08, 3:15, 3:22 and 3:30 p.m. These buses only operate when public schools are open.
